buildingWorks Adds Floe to Product Portfolio

buildingWorks, an industry leader in construction products and consulting solutions, announces that it has added the ice dam solution Floe to its line of commercial roofing solutions.

Floe offers an intelligent ice dam solution that uses connected sensors and real-time weather forecast data to automatically activate its de-icing fluid at exactly the right time. Unlike other deicers, Floe is clear, non-corrosive, biodegradable, and pet/plant safe.

“We are pleased that we can now offer this innovative, new technology to building owners in Colorado and New Mexico,” said buildingWorks President Ken Flickinger. “Snow and ice buildup each winter is very hard on roofing systems, leading to leaks and damage. Floe provides the protection buildings need and eliminates the risks that accompany manual snow and ice removal.”

Floe can easily be installed on existing commercial and residential buildings and is not able to be seen from the ground, meaning there is no impact on building aesthetics. For building owners with multiple properties, Floe provides an integrated performance and analytics platform for real-time analytics and monitoring.

buildingWorks is pleased to welcome Floe to its family of brand which include Alpine Snowguards, Atlas Roofing, Epilay, Hickman Edge Systems, McElroy Metal, Western Colloid and WindSmart Systems.
