Some of the most commonly known insulations include fiberglass batt insulation, expanded polystyrene (eps), which is typically white and often used in EIFS, extruded polystyrene (xps), which is typically blue or pink and commonly used in masonry applications, and mineral wool insulation. The most common type of building insulation is polyisocyanurate (polyiso) insulation, used in both roof and wall applications.”
